Long Beach Peninsula, Washington Wedding Photography

These images are of a fall wedding on the Long Beach Peninsula.  As this was a fall wedding, the weather was windy, rainy with heavy, dramatic and gloomy clouds.

The wedding ceremony was at the top of the Cape Disappointment Lighthouse in Ilwaco, Washington.  After the ceremony, the reception was in Ilwaco, Washington in an old public school gymnasium.

Long Beach is an amazing area for weddings.  The community is beautiful, but remote and rugged, but still close to Portland.  The surrounding communities offer amazing accomodations, music, food and entertainment with the Pacific Ocean as the backdrop.

Cannon Beach Engagement / Photography

These proposal images were taken at Hug Point State Park, near Cannon Beach, Oregon.  Each season I shoot a handful of intimate proposals on the Coast.  This proposal was candid, with the bride unaware that I was photographing for the first 20 minutes.

Hug Point is a beautiful location for portraiture.  It is just 5 minutes south of Cannon Beach, and is much less busy than the beaches in Cannon Beach.

 

Astoria, Oregon Wedding Photographer

This wedding took place in Astoria, Oregon during the summer of 2017.  Most of the weddings that I photograph Most of the weddings that I photograph are destination weddings on the Oregon Coast.     The wedding and reception were at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds in Astoria, Oregon.

Most of the weddings I photograph take place in Cannon Beach,  Manzanita and Astoria.

 

 

Cannon Beach Family Portrait Photographer:

Over the last 10 years as a photographer, I have met and worked with hundreds of families on the Oregon Coast. Most families that I photograph have traveled to the coast for summer vacation.

Locations:

My typical family portraiture session takes place on the beaches on the Oregon Coast.  Each session is a mix of candid, posed and informal portraits.  Typical locations are Cannon Beach, Manzanita, Gearhart,  Ft. Stevens in Warrenton and the historic riverfront in Astoria.

These images are a sample of a two hour photo shoot of a couple that wanted portraits together.  Many of the images are loosely posed, with some direction as well as candid moments.  Most of the images were taken near Hug Point State Park, 5 minutes South of Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast.
